Manga Analysis

Hello, Shodai Hokage here.
As you know, I have started manga analysis, and I will start with chapter # 518. This will include summaries, personal opinions, guesses as to what will be in the next chapter and the storyline, and, of course, any thoughts from Rikoudu Sennin.
Ok, here goes...

Chapter #518 starts off with the ambush squads really starting their clash. We see Omoi using his kenjutsu, in which he is very skilled, enough to gain Sasori's respect. Then, Kankuro displays his increased skill in puppet style jutsu, and he keeps the enemy at bay. Sai's brother, who was reanimated through Edo Tensei, is blown up through Deidara's explosive clay. Luckily, Kankuro traps the explosion in a shell-like puppet, and the Shinobi Allied Force's ambush squad prepares again. Sai prepares to attack his brother, but they have no need to fight, as Sai's brother's soul was freed when he saw Sai's final drawing in his picture book- the two of them at peace together. The chapter then ends as Kankuro speaks to Sasori about his foolishness in turning himself into a puppet.

Personally, I think that this chapter is setting the stage for another, larger conflict with either this squad or Gaara's division. It had really nice pacing and some cool new jutsu, but Masashi Kishimoto seems to be building anticipation. A thing I think may happen in the next chapter is that Sasori's soul is freed by Kankuro, but they still must fight Deidara.
